Showcasing FC's Legacy
Tasked with creating a visual identity for Fashion for Change's 10th anniversary fashion show, Legacy, I looked to invoke a sense of nostalgia and reminiscence. With hip hop being a fundamental part of Fashion for Change, I took inspiration from east coast hip hop and the 'hard', gritty environment that it grew out of in 1970s NYC. Bold, blocky san-serifs, grainy textures, and muted colours were used throughout the designs, paired with elegant script and serif fonts and a bright gold to signify a momentous 10 years of refinement and achievements.
Legacy's Showbook
Collaborated with a team of 7 designers and the photography team to create a 36 page showbook (programme). The spreads were designed around a series of photo shoots that were done for each scene in the show, with the layout resembling the style of a scrapbook/yearbook to convey the theme of looking back on the past.
Getting the Word Out
Designed a series of social media banners and posters for pre- and post-show fundraising events, keeping them visually and thematically cohesive with the style of Legacy and Fashion for Change's branding.
